Unhappy 850 turbo wont start

Hi everyone. I am having a no start problem with my 94 850 turbo. It HAS spark, new camshaft position sensor, ignition and coil. just turns over without firing, unless I let it sit all night then it will fire for about 3 cyl worth of time then die out and nothing after that until 5 hours or later then the same thing. Anyone able to help??????? Thanks

P.S. I jumped the fuel pump relay after testing it bad and got power to the pump, but the pump still wont run. no fuel pressure in the fuel rail, im lucky to get a drop out of it.. Is it possible for the pump and relay to go out at the same time? Anyone???

I had the same issue and could not figure it out. Then my buddy came over to lend a hand and found the fuse to the fuel pump was blown. I felt dumb. but now it runs.

If you got pwr to the pump (i.e. you measured 12v at the pump harness after jumpering the relay) and the pump didn't run (should be able to hear it) then I would say the pump is bad.

Have you replaced the fuel filter recently?

Get power to the pump and it runs when jumped. I feel retarded but I just posted a new thread about testing the power wires to the relay.. 15 has voltage should any of the others? bought 2 brand new relays, one from ipd and 1 from volvo and still no go so then i went and grabed a few from the junk yard and still no power to the pump.

Yes it is getting good pressure, replaced the pump and filter last night just for good measure. It is getting what looks to be like 36psi on my old cheapo fuel pressure guage. but the relay still needs to be jumped, after 6 relays... Thanks evryone for your time, I am sure you have better things to do any all your thoughts and efforts aren't going un noticed..

Thanks to all who put their 2 cents in on this "tech, gdog, roblu540, tipsp" did some close examination and found one of the female peump relay spades pushed in so it wasnt making contact with the relay...Again Its your efforts and comments that make this place a great site to be a part of!!!!!
