Default 850 wont start

I have a 1993 850 glt or something. This car ran and drove perfect till one night I drove it to the store about three miles from my house. when I got back into the car from the store it took longer to start but still started I got home and turned it off and it hasnt started since. I check the pressure at the check valve, and there wasnt any. So, I changed the fuel pump and now it has great pressure there but still don't start. the car has spark and everything just wont start. If i put some starting fluid in the car it will fire up and run till the ether burns off and then it die's. I dont think that the injectors are pulsating but havent really checked. I am about to give up on this terd. any help would be awsome.

Check the Cam sensor on the back of the motor. Inspect the plug for the sensor they are known to fall apart.

what does the cam sensor look like and where is it exactly? could it be anything else? why would that cause the injectors to not work?

The cam sensor is on the back of the head. There is 3 t-30 screws holding the sensor on the back of the head.

That tells the computer when to fire the injectors.
