check all your hose clamps. Also check the boot that connects to the intake manifold, mine blew apart. Also check for leaks, i do this with a bottle of soap bubbles, take off the box around your throttle linkage, if it has one, and just spray around your inter cooler hose connections ETC. with the soap bubbles, then put the engine to about 3500 rpm to get the boost up a bit, and look for leaks.

If it's not seating correctly or it's being opened too soon, sure.

Or ... this is a long shot, if the exhaust housing cracked.

wow brother thats right. l was seafoaming my car about a week ago and saw smoke come out from behind the heat shield. thats not a good sign l think. and when l reved it l hear a pop sound coming out from behind the heat shield.l think l will have to take of the turbo and take a close look at it. but let me ask you, when taking off the turbo, do l have to drain my anti freeze? thanks alot for ur input.

Yes and no. You can either drain it or it will drain down to the level you take off the coolant hoses going to it.

It's would likely be cleaner if you drained it from the lower hose or petcock as it would be easier to catch and not as messy as at the turbo.

No, you dont have to drain the anti-freeze, just put a bolt or something in the line to plug it up.
