'94 850 no fuel from the injectors
I have a '94 850 non turbo. great ride when she runs- had a starting issue, I replaced everything, fuel pump, filter, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, crank position sensor, fuel injector relay, even the engine control computer (borrowed from a friends car- works in his not mine) i can start the car with starter fluid and keep it running as long as im spraying the fluid straight into the throttle body intake. Today, i pulled the injectors and energized them- they are clean and work, but when they are hooked up to the car they do not get energized. Does anyone have ideas on what i may have missed? the rail has good pressure. any help would be great! thanks !

i said crank position sensor, but i mean cam yes it was $165 and nice and shiny i might add...that was the last code i was able to read- now the light will light up when i hit the button but thats all- not even the 1-1-1 code is there a way to check voltage at the injectors? - im wondering if there is possibly a grounding issue somewhere in the wiring loom..

Well the injectors work by a ground pulse. So with the key on you should have 12V at the injector plugs. When you crank the motor the ECU grounds the injectors after getting signals from the cam sensor and injector relay. Also double check the plug for the injector relay on top of the radiator.

That's what confused me. I'm reading the thread and think he's (Jea) fixed his car and posted something and then realize it isn't Jea who is posting about the relay so I revised my post and them I'm reading it again and see that the problem is from back in April of 2010 and Spamedic just kind of jumped in.
Nothing wrong with that and someone researching a no start might find his fix helpful but it's still odd for him to pull up this thread to post his happiness at fixing his problem I guess that's what makes this fun !!
