'95 850 T5 finally started
Got mine going.
And all it took wasto perseverewith cranking the engine overholding the accelerator pedalabsolutely flat to the floor.
It took about 80 seconds to eventually start (I timed it on the sweep hand of my watch)butyoumust ignore the noisescoming from the engine and anythoughts aboutthe starter motor burning out.
So, I'm as happy as the proverbial pig in $#!t again my little beauty ishumming alongthe road once again.
Yippee!

I charged both the new one and the old oneand them jumped them together to crank her over.
The ridiculous thing is - after charging both batteries up, I discovered the old one holds a higher voltage than the brand new one i.e.whisker over 13 volts (which means it's actually in better knick than the new battery).
However, the main thing is she's up and running again.
