hi I have a 96 850 turbo and recently the steering has become very tight. I checked the pump and the fluid was fine no leaks. when I turn the wheel it does make a sound. when I opened the reservoir and turned the car and had someone turn the wheel nothing happened in the pump. I don't know if its the pump, the rack, or a joint or something that's why im asking for some help.
ive read around and saw people with similar problems are greasing up there joints and other places and its fixed.
can someone explain or show a video of where I should grease and also with what kind of grease

 

I do not know of a video, but I would use regular wheel bearing/axle grease.
