Ac Drier line seized
Hello, I am attempting to replace my AC drier. I am having trouble disconnecting the line with the ac quick disconnect tool. I was able to loosen the screws that hold the bracket in place. I can hear a clicking sound and I know that the tool is doing its job by spreading the spring. However I have tried to pull this line off the drier for 3 hours straight and it just won't budge! I believe that the lines may be seized together internally... I have no clue how to get that line loose. And I know the other line is going to be no walk in the park either... Help, tips, and suggestions are appreciated!
I at last got my new drier, and when it's on,the coversion is getting done.None to soon with these 90 degree days.I have the right Portage expulsion tool, not those modest rings,so I know it's working. It's setting as far as possible in,so the spring should be opened, but I can't get the line separated on either end. It's the first lines,do they now and again stay with age?I know these should be a viable simple method for getting hte fittings apart, please help, this heat is keeping me in the house until I get it moving!! grimace.
