Default AC Unit,,, Please

I am replacing all the AC components on my car, a 1995 940 Turbo. The one question I have is, are the expansion valve and the ORIFICE tube the same thing. I can not find an orifice tube anywhere. Please help here. Thanks, Brandon

Yes they are the same thing. It will either be located in the high side line at the Evaperator or in the line before the Evaperator.

What would be the best way to bleed the freon that is currently in the system. Should I bleed it through the line or just off the compressor. Thanks form the help on this.

The proper way to do it would be to have someone remove the freon from the system.

If you have a shop that you know or trust try to work out a Deal with them to remove the freon now and then when you installed everything you will have them fill it back up.

Because they will need to Vaccum the system to make sure all the moisture is out of the system.
