AC high temperature cycling
I have a '97 850 R and at high ambient temperatures, my compressor will cycle off momentarily and then reengage. The problem begins to occur at temperatures in excess of 90 degrees F and worsens as the temperature increases. Strangely, a friend who drives a '94 850 has a simliar problem, but his has degenerated considerably more so that his AC is virtually useless at temperatures above 90 degrees. Help?

RE: AC high temperature cycling
I've had the coolant checked twice and it's fine. Just for kicks, the mechanic added coolant to it the last time and it continued to cycle like that. I guess it's time to take it to the dealer...
