Anyone have experience with aftermarket sport seats?
My 850Turbo front driver's seat is badly worn, and the reclining motor seems to work but it won't recline. So I'm driving with the whole seat tilted to the rear just so I'm not hunched. Uncomfortable as hell. Most seats I've seen from parting out 850's are just as damaged. I was on AndysAutosport looking at seats and can get a set of Corbeau Sport seats for $320 a piece plus $233 for the mounting brackets. Anyone have any experience in this arena? I don't want to shell out almost 1k for this stuff and then experience headaches during the install. Thanks

If your going to consider dropping that much cash, get a replacement seat from the junkyard, and get the seat skins from bobec..
You can find them here --->https://volvoforums.com/forum/sale-t...t-skins-45244/
Most JY's will sell you the entire seat for like $30 to $50 and the seat skins look just as good if not better than OEM..

It's the cable inside the seat that's slipped out of the motor.

+1 With the Kiss thing. Good job. Other than that, the seats in the 850 are so comfortable that I would only consider replacing them to get much lighter racing seats if that was something I had to do. The only seats that I liked better than the 850 seats are the S70 seats.
Before I rode in our S70, the most comfy seats I ever rode in was a Peugeot. It was an awsome ride.
