Congratulations! When you say "fanblades" do you mean the wheels? They are called Columba.

Good for you. I would replace the wheels, but that's just my opinion. For some reaslon Columbas are my least favorite wheel. I just don't like the bent star look at all. I've got a set of them in the basement that haven't been on a car for probably 10 years.

Get 17" pegs, it'll have a slightly low profile tire, but they won't be 18s.

Get 17" pegs vs 18". My son has these on his 98 V70 T5M and they are sweeeet. I want to put a set on my T5R. They look enough like the original T5R wheels called Titans, but are much tougher wheels. The Titans are too soft. On my car I have 17" Volans and they are a seven spoke wheel. I like them too, but I like the five spoke better. On the car my wife drives I have 15" wheels which give a much smoother ride. The 17" wheels do cause a rough ride, but better handling. I really don't know of a nice looking 16" wheel though.

True that. The only decent looking 16" I can think of would be meteors.

That's weird...I like the Columbas. Although volans are my favorite. But there is point in putting Volans on my puny NA.

Congrats!!! excellent choice. Volvo wagons are just meant to be and at 122K you have lots of life. Please post pics. My advise... Forget about the wheel envy.

What "is" up with the rest of you? I seriously doubt Volvo was about wheeeeels. The car is about way more than the wheeeels.

The Mimas is a 16" wheel (came on the 02 S60) which we put on my sons 850. I think it is a good looking 16" wheel, although it is a bear to clean.

By the way, congrats on your new wagon.
