Default Bad Dyno Results

Hey Guys,

I was at the dyno the other day and the results were quite interesting.

My 850 T5 (2.0 T) put out 130 KW and 270 Nm...Which for me is a bit disappointing, because the car has a tune and upgraded 16t Turbo on it. There is very big gap between 3300 and 4000 rpm where the car is running super rich and struggles to make some power. I suspect a bad O2 sensor and a crack in my Throttle body hose.

anyways I made a little video of it

curious what would happen if you pulled out the air filter (ie open the top as well) during a dyno run. Have you run a smoke test to help find vaccuum and intake air leaks? You may have a line issue that is keeping the boost control valve from opening or a leak in the intake air tubing (ie turbo to intercooler to throttle body). Try cleaning the maf as well. I take it you don't have any CEL codes? Ever inspected or replaced the CAT?

Thanks for your input. I havent done a smoke test, but i know for sure that my throttle body hose is cracked, im boosting quite a lot 0.9Bars and holding 0.8 up to 6200 then it drops down. Cat has been deleted and i have Lamda light on, so i suspect that the o2 sensor is bad aswell. If you have seen the video, you have heard how the engine is struggling to go past 3500 and right about 3300-3700 it runs very rich.

I’ll do some changes soon and update the post
