Default Battery Questions

The battery died in my 96 850, probably from old age. After the new battery was in place I measured the battery drain with the ignition and all lights and accessories off. I measured a draw of 11Ma. I this normal? I also had a 9v battery plugged into the cig lighter socket to maintane settings. I still lost the settings (time, radio etc.) Is there a trick to using one of these settings savers?

Thanks

Ray

.025 amps pull is the max allowed.
If you do it right you will not loose your settings in the car.
Most of those aftermarket things don't work on the volvo's.
