I thought the 850's were a step up from the 740 though. I had a dark green 740 and it dark green door trims, dash, leather, carpet and looked bloody awful. The burgundy ones were no better.

Yeah they are, but the interior colors of that era were wild with all makes. Thank God they got off that nonsense.
Case in point: Chevy Corsica with red velvet interior on white exterior. Blech!
