bought wiring harness .. doesnt work.. need help
ok. i bought the wiring harness for my car with an in dash kit.. off of ebay.. i get the piece.. and it fits.. but doesnt work.. can someone help me by diagram or . wire colors or something.. i have a 1993 850 glt. i have no idea about the sound system. there was no radio wen i bought it.. ive got the front 2 speakers to work. so far. but i cant figure out which is which with the wires..
please help

If you have a spare $18 or so, you could buy a Haynes' manual, though it is not very thorough. There is a diagram on the audio in the manual.
Usually, the connector for audio should have limited number of wires, as you know. 2 for PWR & GND, 4 or more for speakers (depending on the # of speakers), 1 or 2 for illumination, 1-2 for switching, etc... Also, see if the wires have identifications, I recently installed a radio on a Ford truck and the connector I bought at AutoZone had all id's so the installation was a snap. Without them or diagram, I would have wasted hours with my multimeter to find which wire goes to where.
If there is a shop near you that specializes in automotive audio installation, that would be the quickest way I assume.
