Is the brake pedal sensor interchangeable between years? My 94 needs a new one and I can get one from a 93. The part number is different unless the guy has the wrong sensor identified. He's parting one out online. Is it worthwhile to just get a new one since it sounds like the go often enough?

 

I know the 94 and 95 850s have the sames sensor. I am pretty sure the 93 850 has the same sensor but I am not 100% on this because the 93 850 was a whole different animal.

 

If you can solder they are an easy fix, pop apart solder pc board, silastic top, put together and you are done, saving $$$$

pic of the sensor. The solder was required at the end of the circuit board. A quick job. Hardest bit was getting the casing open.

 

i just yanked out my all of my brake and clutch pedal stuff, its all garbage to me...
