Default Can a 1995 850 GLT use the seats from anther year? (1996)

I was in local junkyard and spotted a great pair of leather seats from a 1996 model. Would they fit in my 1995? New owner here. Sorry if this has been answered before. Does anyone out there know what parts are interchangeable with the 1995 model?

I was at the junkyard today in Fl. Funny I should come across this thread. I have a 96 850 glt n/a. I was just looking for some spare cosmetic interior parts such as 1. (main ) ashtray housing 2.gearshift **** 3. roof trim 4. A little help with this one, a plastic housing shield dr. side below headlight, protects wiring? Anyway the car was stripped but the front seats looked alot better than mine. I was wondering the same thing, would the seats from a 960 (do not know what year they were made) fit my 96 850? If so what do you guys think I should offer? I don't know what they go for but I did get an estimate of $700.00 for reupholstering.

960 Seats will not work. They are not as comfortable as the 850 seats anyway. Check around, you can get the seats redone for $550. You can also purchase seat skins for about the same, check the Classifieds section.

Hey RSPI thanks for the input. Does this web site have a classified section? I couldn't find it. You mean my local paper. Do the skins slip over the old seats or do they have to be sewn on? If so I'm back to around $700.00 to have them put on, no?

Where in FL are you? In Miami near Medley they have a U-Pick-It-Auto that had an awesome selection. I would try to get some 850 seats.

Hi nownow, I'm in port charlotte Fl. About 45 min. north of Ft. Myers. I called that U-pull it in ft. myers before I left and they said they had plenty of volvos in stock. When I got there they had ONE 960 that was stripped. Plus they charged me a dollar to look! Where are you? If you come across any seats for an 96 850 glt n/a let me know. I'd like to give them a call before making the trip. How about the one in Medley? I'd make the trip if there was alot to look at I need some cosmetic parts also. Thanks

Hi..I dont live in Miami anymore but the Medley UPickit was pretty good. Give them a call and see wht they got. It might be worth the drive. On the same road where they are located they also have a few junkyards as well.
