Checking my factory alarm on 95 850
Ok i know my car has the factory alarm because of the light in the middle and the horn under the hood but i dont have any beeper, bought the car 1 1/2 half ago, i know is not activated cause the light on dash doesn't light how do i activate the alarm again i know the car used to have another alarm cause of the beeper they gave says k-9 mundial, doesnt' say volvo. My question is how do i activate the alarm again any thoughts where the alarm module is i want to make sure its working so i can buy a volvo beeper?????? Thanks in advanced

Well this will tell you if it is working.
Leave the drivers window open. Then with all the doors and hood closed lock the car with the key.
Wait about 2 minutes or so. Then reach in through the open and pull the hood release and see if the alarm goes off.
