I have a 94 850 turbo and my climate control is out of control. When I turn the key to on position the fan starts up. none of the controls work. It just blows on high and it won't shut off. I cannot adjust the temp or get the ac to turn on. A friend of mine told me I need to replace the climate control unit in order to fix the problem. Anybody have any advice as to how to remove the unit or other possible issues that may cause this problem?

If it has the ACC unti, then your friend is correct. Does the unit have an "auto" setting? If yes, then the cxlimate control computer is going bad. Mine went bad on mine. I bought another one from a member on here and swaped them out. Instant fix! All the codes went away......

 

Mine has intermittent blinking lights, but A/C works just fine.
