Clunking sound
Hey guys,
I have a new noise on the R... Kind of a clicking or clunking noise when I shift from drive to reverse. Also a bit of front to back engine movement. The front upper bushing is bad I think... a bit of movement. Rear upper bushing is solid. Lower trans torque mount seems to be in decent shape.
Car shifts great, runs great. Trans fluid is good, no burned smell.
Could it be bad motor mounts? Any ideas would be great!
Thanks,
Sean

Have you tried shifting it with the hood open to see if the engine moves much. Same with doing a gentle brake stand. With the hood open so you can see the engine try putting it in gear, try R and D and see if you notice an excessive amount of movement when you slowly raise the engines speed..
