Smile Compression Test Results

What are your opinions on these numbers? 1996 Volvo 850 N/A (numbers on a cold engine and dry) In PSI

Looks good. All within about 15% margin of error. How many miles on her?

Not sure. Approx 140-160K Miles. The odometer broke at 103K. Replacing that when I do the timing belt and water pump.

I'm still not used to thinking of 140K Miles as "low mileage." (Still new to owning a Volvo)

Lol. Thats what brought me back to Volvo Even with ~220k miles on my 95, its still considered "low". I expect to see another 200k out of her easily, provided I don't grenade the tranny first from a lead foot haha (first *actual* turbo car I've owned that I've gotten to daily drive).

Kind of interested to see what my compression numbers look like now...may have to dig out my gauge and do that next time I do spark plugs...
