There should be a black plastic hose under the battery tray with an elbow on it.
That would be the hose you need.

There isn't really a vacuum diagram for the cruise control because it consists of one hose that attaches to a bellows above the accelerator pedal to the cruise vacuum pump. The vacuum hose goes through the firewall in a wiring loom that is close to the brake master cylinder.

cool thanks -- my car is now totally oil drip free thanks for the idea on that too
i would love to pick a good name for my car and Pearl and Kristine are just not suitable for her!
can you think of a good name ?
dude wait till you hear this bad girl she is sooooo quiet - like a panther waiting to strike- coz i know whats under the hood and i am pretty sure you do too- my next trick will be to set the boost correctly - i messed it up when i stripped down the turbocharger and rebuilt it - but it is perfectly balanced- so how many pounds vacuum do i need to set the turbo accurately in order to set up the wastegate ?
i was told 4 lb 6 lb 9 lb 10 lb 14 lb - which one is correct ?

I will try to find it and post it. I know I have posted it before. I know it is was in the one 850 post about a guy having running problems after an ECU tune.

Page 4 of this post has the way you need to do it with all the model numbers and PSI to set it to.
