Default Cruise Control/brake Switch Questions

While trying to find the leak for the cruise control, somehow the brake switch that has the vacuum line came off. I for some reason can not figure out how to get it installed to the bracket. Does it snap in or do I have to twist it in?

I narrowed down the leak to the line that goes from the pump to the brake/clutch switch and gas pedal actuator. As far as I can tell, all of the elbows are holding air fine using a hand vacuum pump, its just that one line that wont hold air. Does anyone know how to get that line out? It disappears somewhere into the firewall. I dont know if it connects into anything else or if it is just a single line that runs through the firewall.

Thanks for the help!

Edit: This is a 94 850 sedan

There should be a clip that holds the switch in.

Follow the lines from the pump back to the firewall. They commonly have a problem under the battery tray.

Thanks, I think I spent like ten minutes trying to get the switch back in and gave up. I will see if I can find a clip somewhere.

I checked the connections under the battery tray and the ones under the dash with a vacuum pump and the leak is not at any connections. The only leak I could find is in the line that goes from the pump to the connections under the dash.

Is that just a single line that runs from the pump to under the dash? I am assuming it just runs through a grommet in the fire wall and I can just pull it out.
