diagnostic ports A and B what do they represent?

diagnostic ports A and B what do they represent?
Hi guys, on my 95 wagon i have the diagnostic ports A and B to read the codes. I know that A1,2 and 3 refer to the engine,tranny and ABS....what do the other numbers, and the the B side correlate to? thanks

Update..just checked the codes again...I also checked in the A7 slot..
I got cde 1-2-2...Temperature signal interval too long...what does this mean?>??
