My key fob, dash mounted switch, as well as using the key in the door has stopped working on my 1997 850R. Meaning, the only way to lock or unlock all the doors is to manually push down or up lock on the door. I can also use a key on the front doors to unlock or lock.

I have checked the fuse and the relay. They both test good. I also replaced the battery in the key fob and attempted to re-associated the key fob with the car. Since the central locking system is down I am unable to associate the key fob to the car. The battery in the key fob tests out good.

Any thoughts? I don't know exactly how this started. My 19 year old daughter used the car while hers was in the shop. When I got it back it was not working. She just said one day it stopped.
