Door panel Removal/Side mirror installation
Hey guys, I got another question.
How do I install new side mirrors? More specifically, how do I remove the door panel? Do I have to remove the entire door panel? Or only the plastic/pleather part (so including the felt where there is a compartment)?
Thanks,
-Jimmy
One more thing, how do I know if my mirrors are heated? I ordered a heated side mirror, and I had no clue whether or not mine was heated...

RE: Door panel Removal/Side mirror installation
If it is heated there will be 2 wires going to the mirror glass.
To remove the door panel
1. Remove the screws along the bottom of the door panel.
2. Remove the insert above the door handle to open the door.
3. Remove the 2 T-30 screws
4. Remove the speaker and all 4 screws around the edge of it.
Then you should be able to work the panel off.
Also you have to remove the door lock **** and the **** on the inner door handle.

Tech, would just like to say Thanks A LOT for your help.
These instructions helped A LOT. I got my new mirror installed...
On that note, it looks kind of beat up and the color is somewhat faded. It's not a huge deal, but should I put a coat of clear or something on it so it will be shiny like the rest of the car?
Thanks,
-Jimmy
