I'd like some tips on ways to clean up my engine bay for an upcoming meet I'm attending. My valvecover is my main concern. It's gotten some stains, light scratches, and is just overall not very aesthetically pleasing. I know the T5 doesn't have a conventional valvecover that can be easily removed so what cleaning or painting method would you recommend?

 

Paint the center cover and draw people's attention to that instead.
