Default HELP! mouse/rat in engine bay

A few months ago so items were chewed in my wifes engine bay, I replaced on part, but everything else was good enough. Appearantly something is back, the hose I replaced is chewed on, and the washer hose is chewed through and some others are getting bad. Any ideas on killing/getting rid of the problem?

Get some Rat traps. And also put Rat Poision in some Peanut Butter and leave it for him.

we have a few alley cats where i live, and being the cat fan that i am, i feed them...that being said, i have never seen a rodent of any kind...no squirrels (which are VERY common around here)....so i think that my "outside cats" are doing their job...
