Default Engine Code

We have just completed an engine swap from a 1993 Volvo 850 into a 1994 850. This is the non-turbo engine. The intakes had to also be swaped because of many differences. The car runs great but about once a day the service engine light blinks and the car stutters. When we check the codes it shows a 214 which is ignition RPM sensor signal intermittently absent. We have check all the connections but we do not know where this sensor is. Can someone please point us in the right direction. Thank you.

Default RE: Engine Code

The ignition RPM sensor should be the one located in the aluminum cap that you put on the end of the cam.You put the dist on one and the RPM sensor should be on the other cam.
