Default Engine issua

Hi All
I have just purchased a 1995 850 se sedan for my son as his first car.
The issue I have is the car starts fine but after going for a drive when the car heas sat for approx 5 -10 mins it starts but then seems to have trouble idling. If you touch the accelerator to engine stalls. If I wait about another 10-15 minutes it starts and runs again.
Th fuel pump has been replaced and I have a new fuel pump relay to install but is there something else I should be looking at?
It is a non turbo 2.5ltr, 222000kms.
Thank you for any help and advice.

I'd clean the idle air valve and replace the thermostat and engine coolant temp sensor (along with the overflow cap). Parts should run you about $75.

Replacing the fuel pump relay fixed the problem. Next is the pcv system. Then timing belt. But not bad for a car I only paid $500AUD for. There is a rattle from the exhaust that I haven't pin pointed yet but still an immaculate 1995 volvo 850 for this price.......who cares about spend $1k extra after the buy price
.. SCORE!!!!!!!@

just make sure when you redo the PCV system to "rod out" the ports. You don't want to lift off the intake manifold and throw all new hoses and not clean the ports in the block out...

I cleaned out the ports good and still have a bit of a blockage. I took of the top crankcase hose and poured down cannof seafoam into the can. Than changed oil after 50 miles. Helped a bit
