For FlameJet 850 to V70 rears
Not looking very shiny today but at 22 degrees, I couldnt quite bring myself to shine, even for photo's. MY hope of a cancellation fell through so, its off to be tinted on Tuesday.
I only changed the rear lights because when I bought the car, the ones on it were badly faded and dull, but, I much prefer the clearer look of the V70 lights.

RE: For FlameJet 850 to V70 rears
Thanks Tech, and actually thanks twice over, because when I needed to replace my 850 lights, it was you that suggested I might look at the V70's. Great call and I'm glad I took your advice.
I'm getting the windows tinted this week, I like the look on a white vehicle, and I think the rear end will look smarter.

they look good, with the white paint esp.
however, i dont think its that much of a change, to specifically hunt down taillights. maybe if i come across some at a later date, i'll give it a whirl, but the only difference i see, without a side-by-side view, is the turn signals are clear instead of the amber color.
and, something that just popped in my head, im not 100% sure i can even have clear turn signals, now that i think about it. theres some state laws (kansas, usa) that say what colors are permited, i may have to look into that...
edit: i was right, the only allowable lens colors are red, yellow, and amber. if the lense is clear, i must use a colored bulb, like an amber bulb, inside of the light housing. anything else is considered '...distracting, demoralizing, or unsafe...' . colors they deam these 3 terms, is : "... green, purple, blue, black, white (clear), pink, or any other color that does not conform to these standards..." i guess a pink lens is demoralizing rofl...
