Front door makes loud clacking noise while opening

Front door makes loud clacking noise while opening

It's like the middle hinge is snapped or something. Any quick fix to this? As when the passenger door opens, it's quite loud and a bit embarrassing. Thanks.

Make sure the screw that holds it to the body is not loose. If it is not loose most like the weld broke on the body.

My door had a big crack in it where the position holder was. I took it loose so it wouldn't do any more damage. Then I had to make sure I didn't open the door to far and damage the door, finder, and trim.
