Hello, first off it's a 1994 850 20 valve 250k miles, in the last year the fuel pump cam sensor and some other stuff have been changed, the car will start then stall, the fuel pump primes but don't seem to turn on after the car starts, i jumped the fuel pump and the same thing start stall, i unplug the MAF and jump the pump and it will run, i have tried 2 junk yard MAF and as soon as i plug them in it dies, any help would be great Thanks.

 

Don't jump the fuel pump anymore since it works ok. Have you checked and double checked for vacuum leaks? Especially around the idle valve? Will if run if you have your foot on the gas?

 

yes it will idle, but only with the pump jumped (direct power form battery) and the MAF unplugged. Thanks

 

Have you checked the fuel pump relay?

 

i took it apart it looked fine, and the pump primes when i turn the key every time, i unplugged the relay and the pump did not prime, so i don't know what to check next. thanks for the reply
