so i filled up my tank today and i came home, parked it in the garage, and went to my room. I came out to the living room later and the whole house smelled of gasoline. I went to the car and low and behold, there's a leak. The bottom half of the tank is wet with what I presume to be gas, and it seems that the top of the big tube going to the gas tank and the 3 small ones that are on top of that are where it's leaking. I think the gas is leaking from the top of the tank, but it's hard to say. I've had a CEL for P0455 twice, but ppl said it's a loose gas cap, so I erased it, retightened the cap and no problem. But now that this gas is leaking, there's no code so I don't know what to do.

What should i do?! If I took this into a shop (non-dealer) how much would it be just to replace the tubes since there's 171K miles on the car so I'm thinking old cracked tubes?

What year 850 is it? There was a recall/service bulletin on certain late model 850's because fuel hose.tank could leak with vibrations. When I got my 850, I took it in to a Volvo dealer for an oil change and the advisor happen to run a history on it and it was never done. There was a bracket installed under that recall, however I did ask the advisor what could happen if it wasn't caught, and the answer was you will develop a leak...
