i have a 96' n/a i have begun installing the fcp kit..it came with a thin plastic hose and a braided hose..what are these and where do they go?..i dont remember taking these parts out

well..i looked thru the images..i think they sent me the turbo kit accidentally i think the extra hoses are the ones leading to the ptc?!?.i did not finish the job today because it took me an hour to try and put the bolt under the manifold into place. i also snapped one of the bolts on the throttle cable drum bracket.so i ran out of light...does anybody know the part number for that bolt? thanks

 

Not sure about the P/N for the bolt; the dealer has detailed IPC and should be able to give you the number, as well as a quote for the bolt; $50.

I checked 1996 N/A PCV kit at eEuro and here is the correct kit:

thanks jpn. that helped the hose in question is a vaccum hose here is an image.i installed everything BUT the things cirlced in red..i did not see the braided hose on the site thou.

 

If there was no braided hose in the original system you took out, it probably is not used. As long as you have replaced the components with new ones and the engine is running happy, I wouldn't worry about it. As to the components you've circled in red, were they included in the kit? If not, you could perhaps clean them up really good, they may be re-used.

i only replaced what i took out and cleaned the TB.shes RUNNING! only other time under the hood was a tune-up so i felt kinda proud..especially with my wife nagging about it probably not starting again. engine light came on so ima check that and the arrow was flashing for the first 3 startups but its gone now. thanks guys
