Head Gasket Replacement, help needed
Hi everyone, My headgasket recently went out on me and I am now replacing it. I accidentally took my camshafts out before i got my haynes manual. I marked the timing belt and everything, is there anyway I can put these back in without buying a $200 tool? Can i make one? I need to know how to align them so nothing blows in my engine.

Once the head is off you have all of the options in the world open to you and, yes, you can make you own tool with a few bucks worth of steel, OK maybe more than a few bucks but not much, from the local Home Depot or Lowes. Just make sure your crankshaft timing mark is correct before your start and then line up the cams. Pay particular attention to which cam has the slot above and below the cam tower joints and you should be fine.
The Haynes instructions are actually quite good.
