Default Heater fan

I searched for the answer to this but couldn't find anything. Every couple of times when I start my 850 the rec and ac lights will blink together for about ten seconds and my heater fan won't blow. It's getting too cold to not have heat. It only does it about 25% of the time though. Any ideas?

I'm currently having the same probs! As far as I can tell it's either the control unit or the resistor inbetween the control and blower. My blower finaly gave out and I ended up wiring a new one directly to the battery for a temporary fix. I can't seem to find any relibable info either. I'm going to replace the resistor and see if that fixes the problem. They can be found on e-bay relatively inexpensive compared to factory prices. Good luck!
