Default Help

Okay so I need a little bit of help I have a 1997 Volvo 850 station wagon T5 with a blown transmission I went to the local pick a part junkyard and I found a Volvo C70 1998 T5 are there transmission compatible? If not does anybody know which cars may carry the same transmission or which one can I put on my car?

I looked on the Volvo 850 and C70 wiki pages and both refer to the Aisin AW50-42LE as their 4 speed automatic but I see two different part numbers for the transaxles so not sure what the diff is. To be sure, try searching yards using Car-part.com It looks like 96 and 97 850Ts are interchangeable. Plenty of tranny's listed.
