Hi,
Is your climate control automatic or is it manual? If auto, try pulling codes from OBD-I terminal, as your 850 is of '93. If there is no code or clearing the codes doesn't help, pull out the climate control unit and disconnect the connectors, clean them with air duster and reconnect them to see if ti cures the problem. If it still doesn't help, the blower motor resistor may be the suspect, though you should still be able to adjust the temp.
Play with it and tell us a bit more findings if possible.
