Default Help: Oil Leak!! :(

So I bought my car about 3-4 months ago, its a 94 850 Turbo. When I bought the car, the man told me it was leaking oil, but barely from a hose. The day he sold me the car, he took the liberty of changing the little o-ring that was leaking, he changed it with me actually...3 months later its leaking again, from the same place.

The O-ring i'm talking about is located on the radiator, on the passenger side, at the top; its right under the coolant hose i believe. Any ideas?

P.S. The O-ring that we put is a genuine volvo o-ring, to ensure proper size and fitment, also it comes with this metal clip that holds the hose in place.

Thanks in advance

The only thing I could think of that would cause it to leak again would be if it did not seal well the first time. Did you clean out the radiator connector to make sure it was free of any dirt?

No I think the guy simply put a new O-Ring and pushed it back in...wouldn't be a pressure related problem or anything like that would it? :S
I just find it weird that I juts changed it and its leaking again...

It could be, but that would mean the oil pump is building to much pressure. How are the rest of your seals? If there not leaking then I would think it is not a pressure issue.

Rest of the seals are perfectly fine, haven't seen anything else leaking...maybe its just dirty. Im gonna go get some more Rings from my volvo dealer and change it again, im gonna clean it well this time...hopefully it stops leaking.

Nah its not the same problem, thanks anyways tho...I'm gonna keep it in my favorites incase it ever starts leaking! lol

My leak is connected to the Rad, near the top of the engine...i'm pretty sure its just the o-ring was badly put or its dirty...gonna check it tomorrow when I get home from school

Did he replace the o-ring that goes in the fitting or the clear one between the hose and fitting?
If he did not replace the clear one I would try that first.

The top of that oil line connects to the radiator. Maybe there is a crack in the line or radiator???

Step 19 of those instructions have a picture of the oil line connection. Is that where you replaced the seal?

The radiator is a few months old, he installed it a few months before selling the car. Step 19 is the exact place that's leaking!!
