Default help with shopping list please

Hi guys I have a 94 volvo 850 turbo that I am ready to drive off a cliff but would like to save it.

Things I know I need to fix:

1) knock sensor
2) pvc system
3) cv axles
4)heater fan stops working after 2 seconds (great with a roof leak)

Can you all help me with a shopping list? Do I need an intake gasket if I am loosening it to get to the pvc and knock sensor? I need to know if it's worth it to fix this pos. It has a roof leak as well which is pissing me off.

Thanks

Yes you need a new intake gasket.
I would get the PCV kit that includes the hoses as well.

Is the sunroof leaking? Or is it something else?

thanks for the reply. with regards to the roof what else could it be? The sunroof drain pipes are good. the trunk is wet and the headliner on the passenger side to the rear is soaked anytime it rains. The weird thing is that when I open the sunroof the tracks seem dry?

The seal on the glass might be bad. If it is the water will leak through the seal and drop outside the drain tub area.

I know it will look like crap but use silicone and seal all around the seal and see if that stops the leak or slows it down.

If it does either look for a new seal or a used glass.

Man, I've already done 1,2 and 4 on my 94 turbo...still need to do 3! Plus a bunch of other stuff. I suppose it depends on how much you paid for the car if it's worth it or not. I'm trying not to go over what I see them going for on craigslist (purchase price + repairs) Unless you LOVE the car.

The PCV kit I bought came with an intake gasket. Don't forget the throttle body gasket as well...it was also suggested to me to get injector O rings too.

Get the kit from FCPgroton for the PCV... it'll come with everything you need- tubes, clamps, intake gasket... Don't be afraid to use "worm" clamps if you can't get your oetiker clamp tool into some of the places you need to clamp. Don't forget to clean out the 2 ports on the side of the engine block where the oil trap attaches- use a small "bottle brush," some solvent, and maybe a pipe cleaner or 2 to get into the little one. And clean out the port where the EGR valve attaches to the intake, as well as the valve itself, while you're at it. That one usually requires a pick or the like.

Default PCV kit

Carrots- I ordered the pcv kit for my 95 850 from FCP, I guess they are trying to cover a WIDE range of setups cause I had a ton of unused parts left over (that i paid for) when I was done. I didnt open up the injectors. If I were to do this over again, I'd do it when the weather was warm, commute on the Mcycle or summertime fun car, and take the pcv system apart and only order the stuff I need to complete the job. just seems kinda wastefull- of my money!
