Default how to tell the difference between 850 glt and turbo trim?

I am in the market for a 850 turbo trim model (i want the extra 50hp) and am searching on craigslist but i am not sure if its the true turbo trim or the turboed GLT. Is there a way to know for sure? I dont want to travel around to a bunch of different cars if I dont have to.

Maybe its in the vin or theres some sort of marking? any help would be appreciated

the only glt 850 that was turboed was the 97, years below were N/A otherwise youll be looking for a Turbo or T5 or T5R, and even then the 97 low pressure turbo made 198hp i believe

The VIN does contain the engine info. This may help you: http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/vin_850.shtml

If you look at the Wikipedia entry for the 850 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volvo_850), they breakdown the engine details.
