GLT and T-5 use different turbos. Don't know what year you're looking at but the GLT uses a light pressure turbo and makes about 190hp. The T-5 or Turbo models use a high pressure turbo and make anywhere from 222 to 240hp.

96 T5 has 222 HP. The 850 R has 240 hp. The GLT has 190 hp using LPT.

Mainly exhaust and computer upgrade. Search this site and volvospeed.com and you will find plenty of information. Seems like people just keep asking the same questions over and over instead of looking through and searching for answers. Look for some replies and posts from S70driver he has put quite a bit on about upgrades.

About the GLT, what do you mean LPT?

Light Pressure Turbo (LPT) vs. High Pressure Turbo (HPT) LPT puts out 8 psi while HPT puts out anywhere from 9.7 to 12 psi depending on model year and whether or not it's an 'R' model.

For starters search. However your best bet is a 3" downpipe mandrel bent of course and a 2.5" catback system unless you plan to put in a bigger turbo then go full 3" on the catback as well and of course in both cases use a HIGH FLOW CAT and a FREE FLOWING muffler. Also you could make a custom RIP kit (Reverse Intercooler Piping) or buy the one EST EST sells. There are really no good intake systems aftermarket for us, but the stock setup is the best, you could also get EST's intake kit or try Slaters DIY intake kit which is linked somewhere on this forum as well as Volvospeed Volvospeed . Guys over on VS are also putting in N/A (Naturally Apirated, meaning no turbo or supercharger) cams. Read about it over on Volvospeed. Also a good ECU tune should be done. RICA ( The U.S. dealer is Viva Performance ) They are exspensice but will give you the best tune for an ECU upgrade. IPD IPD is also one of the best, also expsensive as well. EST also has an ECU upgrade for the nest highest amount, then Upsolute, then SpeedTuning USA. I would go with RICA and or IPD if I were you.

Also a good note to make is that you shouldn't or well not shouldn't but a could idea not to do these upgrades until STAGE 0 is complete, read about it over on Volvospeed in their Performance PINNED section.

About the GLT, what do you mean LPT?
LPT = Low Pressure Turbo, which in turn means that it isn't boosting as much as an HPT = High Pressure Turbo. I would say that an LPT turbo pushes about 5-7 PSI, like my little 13g did stock.
