First post ever... I just bought a 1993 Volvo 850 w/ 158,000 miles. So far, love the car. I can't get over how well it looks for a 1993. A minor issue I am having is that she idles fast. In PARK I am idling about 1500 and DRIVE is about 1000. I have been told that it is most likely the idle modulator/regulator. Any suggestions?

I would first try cleaning the throttle body and idle motor and see if it helps.
