is this an immediate fix?
I dont know how i had not noticed this before but the air distribution hose by the windshield fluid cap it broken in the little accordion part..also on the part that locks the top of the box where it comes from is broken.so that it is loose on one side..here are some pics..and as you can notice on the top corner of 1 picture there is quite a bit of oil on top of the engine by the oil cap...also i bought all my tune up parts so next saturday it will be my first time working under a hood.
any tips and things to look for while im there will be greatly appreciated...Thanks guys

My "accordion" was also flaking off from age. I went to Autozone and bought black electrical tape and just went round to make a seal again! That was he only issue with that piping on my car, so it wasn't worth looking for a new piece. Hope this works for u.
You can just wrap tape around that. It isn't a major important part. Yes it helps take air flow from the radiator fan to the ECU'S but when you have the A/C on it also is connected to the A/C system and is cooled by the A/C as well.
thanks guys...im just gonna duct tape it then..but once i get the car running right i might replace it to have the engine looking as pretty as it should..plus its less than $15 at fcp
