Pull the siwtch out from next to the headlight switch and reach your finger in and push the headlight switch out from the back.

Then tap into the wire at the back of the switch. I used a T tap to install mine.

Thanks a lot foryour help tech. I really do feel like a dumb ****. Oh well, I finally tapped the boost gauge into the stereo, and I will tap the air/fuel into the headlights.

So I tried to tap the light lines into the headligh switch, no go on the #8. Didn't work, sure its not another line?

It was #8 on mine are teh daytime running lights on?
Is the switch in the Headlight position?
