Default Interior Dome Lights

Just replaced the headliner in this car, and I was hoping to find a wire that was not connected, but to no avail. The interior lights do not work either on manual or by opening the doors. I will say that the dome light is missing the switch in the middle, which is the selector for the light to be on or by door. Is there a way that I can test to see if this is the issue? If so, besides replacing this part, is there a way just to set the light for door operation and let it go at that? Thanks for the help.

The switch missing is the problem.
You would have to check a wiring diagram to figure out which connections to jump if you didn't want to replace it.
