Ipod Tuner??
I have used many FM Transmitters and found the best thing (from my experience) is to just use one of those cassette adapters.
You can also get one of those adapters that plug into CD Changer socket on back of factory unit but from what I found if you do that it is just as costly as getting a new head unit with an ipod input.

Cost is dependent on which year and model Volvo you are doing the install. A direct connect adapter through the changer input will always sound noticeably better than its FM counterpart. I use the USAspec HON-PA11 on my coupe with a 2G Touch.
Besides keeping the factory look, is the USA SPEC PA11-HON actually worth it?
They are going for $110 on Amazon, where at the same time you can get an aftermarket stereo with audio input as well as better sound than the stock head for near that price.
Not trying to argue, was just curious why one would choose the USA SPEC PA11-HON over getting a new stereo. Plus, unless they have a splitter, you wont be able to use the volvo cd changer (if you have one like I do).
