I have a 97 850 sedan that did not come with the keyless remote/alarm system. Does anybody know where I can get the used parts necessary to add this to my Volvo? If you know where or how to add this can you email me?

I believe to upgrade to an alarm system you will need to install a horn under the hood.Replace the hood latch to one with a sensor and a remote compatible with the keyless entry.You will also have to have someone go into the computer and tell the computer it now has an alarm.Your car should already have just a keyless entry system.They may not have given you a remote for it but you should have it already.
