Can anyone tell me how difficult it is on scale from 0 to 10 to change Evaporator?

I understand that if I did it myself, I'd still have to go somewhere else to vacuum the system and charge it ...

PS

I do brakes, tune-ups, tranny flashes, etc., but never attempted to do something like the evap change.

Yes, I did -seems like about 4 hrs for an experienced mechanic, not counting vaccum/charging the system.

I think I let someone else do it.

 

Drive it down here to see Mickey Mouse and I will help you do it. LOL

Or have someone close to you do it.

Thanks, tech -I wish I had time to come. I sort of fixed it w/ extra can of gas for now -seem to be cheaper to put a can or two every year then replacing evap.
